Frequently Asked Question

Can I alter my property? - Regulations, Subletting etc.
Last Updated 2 years ago

For flats, Bebington Hall Park Ltd has issued guidance regarding replacement double glazing, replacement central heating, fitting gas fires, fitting extractor fans and permission to let properties. Application forms are available on request. Prudent purchasers should satisfy themselves as to whether there has been any breach of the restrictions affecting the property.

Works that affect the structure of the buildings of the flats, such as cavity wall insulation, must not be initiated by a leaseholder. Any works for a specific flat that in any way affect the structure of the buildings of the flats must have prior written consent pursuant to the application forms available on request. No additional connections to the external drainage system should be made.

There are restrictions also on alterations to the houses and external decorations.

Anyone buying to let, or subsequently letting their property, should be aware that Bebington Hall Park Ltd requires that tenants undertake to abide by the same covenants as the house owner. An application form relating to the application to sublet is available on request.
